 MEN…JOIN US FOR THE 17TH ANNUAL MEN’S ADVANCE — The weekend of October 2-4, 2009 marks the 17th year First Church has featured a conference for men, with 2009 being the 9th year at Pilgrim Pines in New Hampshire. This incredible weekend has grown from 42 men to a high of 134 men and youth. There is still time to register but the clock is ticking. You can register on Sundays at the Men’s Ministry table in the Wells Area; just hand in your completed registration form with a check made out to First Church of Christ. You can also mail it in or hand deliver it during the week. JUST REMEMBER: Starting September 14, prices increase by $25.00. Get your registration in quickly so you can get the lower price and a chance at a better room. If you have never been before and are uncertain, just ask a brother who has attended to share his thoughts on the weekend.  Men's Saturday Morning Prayer Breakfast

All men are invited to gather in the Fireside Room each Saturday, from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m., for prayer, Scripture discussion, fellowship and a big breakfast. For further information, please call contact

The Men's Monthly Prayer Wall

New “members” are welcome at any time — all we ask is that you pick a day of the month as your day to pray for Men’s Ministries, First Church and other requests for prayer. This is intended to be in addition to the daily prayers you do on a regular basis. You are only active on the Prayer Wall during the day of the month you select. Three to five days before the beginning of each month, every brother on the Prayer Wall will receive the prayers for that particular month via e-mail.
