Troop Startup Meeting  Monday, Sept. 24, 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in Keith Jones Hall. Be with us every Monday night through the school year!

FIRST MEETING INFO — We are excited to share that our first troop meeting will take place on Monday, Sept. 24, at 6:30 p.m., finishing at 8:00 p.m. First Church of Christ is located at 250 Main Street in Wethersfield.

The troop will meet in Keith Jones Hall (in the church’s Marsh Building).  Enter from the parking lot and follow the signs.

Families who have not yet registered their boys may arrive at 6:00 p.m. to get them signed up. A registration table will be set up in the entrance to Keith Jones Hall.

Parents of the Trailmen are welcome to stay for the first meeting to meet leaders and learn about the program. Trailmen will receive a packet that will include forms to be read and completed by their parents for the next troop meeting (Monday, October 1).

What is Trail Life USA?

Trail Life USA is a Christian Outdoor Adventure, Character, and Leadership Program for boys and young men.

Operating from troops that are chartered through churches in 48 states, the K-12 program centers on outdoor experiences that build a young man’s skills and allow him to grow on a personal level and as a role model and leader for his peers.

Living the Trail Life is a journey established on timeless values derived from the Bible.
