GRIEF SHARE
This Biblical and Christ-centered program focuses on grief topics associated with the death of a loved one. The DVD seminar features nationally respected grief experts and real-life stories of people, followed by discussion about what was viewed. Past participants have told us how helpful the information and follow up is.

Many grieving people find that they are only beginning the work of healing when others around them have returned to work and their life routines. Too often people, including Christians, tend to stuff their grief instead of allowing it to work as God intended. You will find encouragement, comfort and help in grieving the death of a spouse, child, parent, sibling, other family members, or friend; and it is an opportunity to be around people who understand what you are feeling. Confidentiality is very much a part of the program.

You will learn valuable information about facing your new normal in life and renewing your hope for the future. Facilitator will be Betty Metcalf. The only charge is $13 for the workbook. To register, or for more information, call Caring Ministries, 529-1575 ext. 210.

THE WAY BACK

This support group is for parents who have children with special needs. They meet the first Saturday of the month, from 10:30 a.m. until noon, in the Church Parlor. Parents looking for support and encouragement in a Christian environment will find this time well spent. For more information, call facilitator Helen Davis, 633-4388.
