COVID-19 INFORMATION

 The Troop’s COVID-19 Position:

Troop CT-1635 respects and is fully committed to observing all state and local regulations regarding its reopening. Our concern for the safety of Trailmen, family members, and leaders is unwavering. In response to a recent troop-wide survey, we distinctly heard enthusiasm for a thoughtful reopening. Troop leaders have developed a plan that balances missional objectives, safety, regulation, and family preferences.  Your open communication with troop leaders is welcome as we move forward.

The July 25th Family Festival:

The upcoming Family Festival at the Shady Maple Farm has been planned in a spirit of thoughtful enthusiasm.

It is a social event that will incorporate COVID-19 safety awareness. However, it will not be possible to directly control social distancing. The event will rely on practices we have all learned during the past months and a respectful shared risk. It is essential that each family’s participation occur in this context.
