Samantha is very excited to begin her fifth year on staff at First Church Preschool this year.  She received a BA in Journalism from Saint Michael's College in Vermont.  After graduation, Samantha worked as an elementary school substitute teacher and after-school tutor.  She then went on to work as a local newspaper reporter for a weekly in Massachusetts before getting married and moving to Connecticut.  She worked in Corporate Communications for People's United Bank up until she and her husband, Mike, a Wethersfield native, welcomed their daughter, Ava.  Shortly thereafter, they welcomed their son, Jack.  In her spare time, Samantha enjoys cheering on her kids at their many sporting and after-school events, and can also be found walking the family's very energetic Australian Shepherd, Coco around the neighborhood.
