Spring is here already and time for April fun!!! It is time to sign up for Extended Enrichment Sessions! These classes have been so popular, please don’t miss out!
Your children will have an opportunity to attend up to four different Extended Enrichment Sessions each week based on a theme. Each full session can be prepaid with your on-line application. You may also choose a day your child does not attend their regular class.
Our “Extended Enrichment Sessions” will run Monday thru Thursday from 11:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Your child will be escorted to Room 2 for lunch bunch and will either remain in that room on Tuesdays and Thursdays, or be in Room 3 for their Monday and Wednesday, for their Enrichment Sessions. Please pick up your child/children promptly at 2:00 p.m. Sessions can be 2 to 5 weeks long depending on the month.
The Lunch Bunch charge will be included in all sessions. The children will go to Lunch Bunch first, but will continue with Extended Enrichment Sessions with a lengthened playtime & learning time that includes exploring, story time, songs, and activities.
The head teachers for these Enrichment Sessions are Phoebe Ostergren and Lisa Roncaioli. Lynn Sunshine will assist when the classes are large enough. Excellent programs have been developed filled with enriching and fun activities.
The weeks are organized by themed days that will build on each other for the month. This will give the children a variety of experiences throughout the week, if they choose to attend all the sessions.

As we continue making art this month, we’ll create paper sculptures inspired by Alexander Calder and try our hand at fiber art. Anyone from last year remember those tie dye socks? Well, it’s time for a new pair! You never know what fun pieces will come out of Monday art class!

April Fool’s Day is the day where pranks are at their peak. Looks can be deceiving, right? What better way to play a prank than with food. This month we’ll be preparing deceptively delicious treats in cooking class. We’ll be preparing a few foods that might look like one thing but aren’t necessarily what you expect. That might look like a grilled cheese sandwich but is it? It might look like meatloaf, but are you sure it is? Would you ever eat dirt? You have to come to class to uncover the surprises.
