QUICK LINKS FOR 2019-2020
PROGRAM MISSION & GOALS
WE are an outreach Christian preschool. We have adopted a new play-based curriculum called Creative Curriculum. This will ensure that our children will be meeting the new State-required learning standards—and it will be enhanced with Bible sharing, Scripture memory, monthly Chapels, and the modeling of Christian values.
OUR PURPOSE is to provide a supportive, encouraging, Christian environment that nurtures both a social and educational learning experience, preparing children for their first year of elementary school.
WE PROVIDE an atmosphere of quality learning through physical, creative and cognitive activities. Our program will help your child to develop:
Large and small motor skills
WE STRIVE TO ENHANCE personal and social skills through the encouragement of:
Improved attention span
Confidence in self-expression
There is a maximum of 16 children enrolled in the three-year-old classes, and there is a maximum of 18 in the 3/5-day combination and the 4-day four-year-old classes. There is a maximum of 18 in the Pre-kindergarten classes.
Our director and teachers are professionally trained and experienced in early childhood education. They are all certified in CPR, First Aid and medication administration.
Each teacher is required to take courses each year so they remain current in teaching ideas and policies.
Each primary teacher is accompanied by an assistant, allowing for a suitable teacher-child ratio.
We have educational, pediatric, dental, and youth service consultants who advise the school.
We offer a continuous “open door” policy for parents to share in their child’s preschool experience.
There will also be opportunities for parents to participate through field trips and special activities during the school year.
