PROGRAM MISSION & GOALS

WE are an outreach Christian preschool. We have adopted a new play-based curriculum called Creative Curriculum. This will ensure that our children will be meeting the new State-required learning standards—and it will be enhanced with Bible sharing, Scripture memory, monthly Chapels, and the modeling of Christian values.

OUR PURPOSE is to provide a supportive, encouraging, Christian environment that nurtures both a social and educational learning experience, preparing children for their first year of elementary school.

WE PROVIDE an atmosphere of quality learning through physical, creative and cognitive activities.

Our program will help your child to develop:

  • Listening skills
  • Language
  • Large and small motor skills
  • Cognitive skills

WE STRIVE TO ENHANCE personal and social skills through the encouragement of:

  • Good manners

  • Self-control

  • Improved attention span

  • Confidence in self-expression

CLASS SIZES

Due to COVID-19 state regulations, there will be a maximum of 10 children enrolled in each class.

OUR STAFF

  • Our director and teachers are professionally trained and experienced in early childhood education.
They are all certified in CPR, First Aid and medication administration.

  • Each teacher is required to take courses each year so they remain current in teaching ideas and policies.

  • Each primary teacher is accompanied by an assistant, allowing for a suitable teacher-child ratio.

  • We have educational, pediatric, dental, and youth service consultants who advise the school.

VACATION DAYS

Our school observes vacations, holidays and weather-related school closings, according to the Wethersfield Public Schools schedule and announcements.

ENROLLMENT

Enrollments are accepted in the order applications are received. If classes become full, waiting lists are used. Parents are notified of potential openings as they become available.

ELIGIBILITY

Children must be 3 years old by December 31 to be eligible for the program.

All children must be potty-trained prior to the start of school to comply with state health regulations.
