Marilyn has been on staff at First Church for over 17 years working in various positions. She enjoys spending time with her family especially her 5 grandchildren who live in Massachusetts. Marilyn’s favorite pastime is golfing.

Marie Fabian

Communications Specialist Email

Marie lives in Marlborough, CT, with her husband, Jose and daughter, Nala. She graduated with a B.M. in Vocal Performance from Liberty University in 2017. She has attended First Church since 2009 and spent many years serving as a Youth Leader. In addition to her role in communications, she also serves as the female vocalist on the Contemporary Worship Team.

Diane Galloway

Diane is Director of Caring Ministries, and has oversight of the Dementia Caregivers and Understanding Grief support groups, and coordinates the Good Samaritan Committee, Prayer Chain, and support to individuals.  She also plans and leads ministries for women at FC through retreats and small group studies.  Diane lives in Manchester with husband Bob and four-footed friend Bentley, and greatly enjoys involvement in the lives of nearby grandchildren, Ben and Catherine.

Vicki Huffman

Director of Children's Ministries Email

Vicki A. Huffman has joyfully been a Children's and Family Minister since 1988 when she first began her career at First Church in Wethersfield and served for 23 years.  After a 7 year "blessed detour" working in Hartford with underserved children, she has recently returned to First Church in her prior role. Vicki loves creatively sharing the love of God through the Gospel with all ages, especially children.  She also is passionate to reach those outside of our church walls; in our community, in greater Hartford, and to the world!  She and her husband Tim, her high school sweetheart, live in Wethersfield, where they were both were raised.  They are parents of 2 grown children, a son-in-law, and a future daughter-in-law.

Rob Lundy

Director of Technology and Production Services

Rob lives in Vernon, CT and has been a lifelong member of First Church. He graduated from the University of Hartford in 2015 with a Bachelor of Music degree  in Music Production and Technology. He is also a musician (saxophone) and is a Multimedia Specialist at Hartford Hospital. Rob supports the technical needs of First Church and provides audio/visual support for services and events.

Sean McCarthy

Sean has appeared in concert throughout the United States, including notable performances at the Basilica of the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception (Washington, DC), the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen, (Baltimore, MD), National Presbyterian Church (Washington, DC), First Presbyterian Church (Atlanta, GA), and Trinity Cathedral (Trenton, NJ).  His recordings have won critical acclaim in Fanfare and American Record Guide review journals and have been featured nationally on NPR’s Pipedreams programs from National Public Media. Sean holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Organ Performance from the Benjamin T. Rome School of Music at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., as well as degrees in Music Education (Choral) and Piano Performance.
