Jennifer Poland

Head Teacher | 3-Day, 3s Class

Jennifer graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a BA in English. She then went on to Sacred Heart University where she received her MA in Education. Shortly after, she found a summer job working with Autistic children as an Applied Behavior Analyst (ABA) Therapist. She loved it so much that she decided to pursue her career in the special education field, specifically as a Board Certified Analyst (BCBA), and went to Saint Joseph's University in West Hartford. She worked in many different settings over the years with all ages of children from in home services (birth to three), private school, public school, and then to a non-profit organization (The Kennedy Center) where she ran social skills groups. She then took a break to become a stay-at-home mom but volunteered at First Church Mastering Motherhood where she co-led a group and worked part time here and there with children. She enjoys spending time with her family, organizing, coffee, and living as minimally as she can. She lives in Southington with her husband Tom and three children: Bryce, Avalyne, and Cole.
