The Men’s Ministries of First Church, as all ministries should be, are based on the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. The ministries’ purpose is to help provide the tools to bring each man to a passion for God and be a man after God's own heart.
In all of our venues—Bible study, prayer breakfast, prayer wall, speaker meetings, workdays, fellowship, conferences—we emphasize the vertical connection between us and God and the horizontal connection between each other and between us and the church community (as a whole and in small groups). Thus, the completion of the cross.
As men become comfortable in their relationship with Christ and more mature in their faith, our hope is that they will take on church leadership positions using the spiritual gifts God has given them, and that they would lead courageously. The Church—and our world—want and need more “Lion of Judah” men.

One of the special outings on the yearly men’s ministry calendar, the campfire invites men to share in a tractor-pulled hay wagon tour of the farm, followed by dinner and singing around the fire.
