Nicole joined the staff at First Church Preschool in 2022 and has been honored to work in the 5-day 3’s class for the past 3 years. Helping nurture each child’s growth, learning and confidence has truly been a joy and a privilege. This year, she’s excited to join the 3-day 3’s as she hopes to take time on her days off to pursue another passion of hers – writing. She discovered her love of working with young children in 2018 when she began providing childcare for the First Church Mastering Motherhood program. During that time, she also substituted in the preschool from time to time. She’s originally from upstate New York where she graduated with a BA in English (Writing) from SUNY Plattsburgh. Prior to having children, she worked as a Grant Writer for continuing medical education. She became primarily a stay-at-home mom when her son was born in 2009. She enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with family and friends. She lives in Wethersfield with her husband, Matt, and her children, Ethan and Ariana (Ari).
